Ford Slater
Acting Director of Recreation
Ford was born and raised in a small town outside of Richmond, Virginia. He played Varsity baseball at Goochland High School and two years of Club Baseball at the University of Virginia, where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in History. He moved to South Carolina in 2018 to receive his Master’s Degree from Coastal Carolina in Sport Management. Ford became involved with the Loris Recreation Department in 2019.
Favorite Sports Memory: “In 2014, I made the last out in the Dixie Boys State Championship Game against Mecklenburg, Virginia to send us to the Dixie World Series in Ozark, Alabama.”
Dylan Reyes
Athletics and Fields Supervisor
Dylan was born in Florence, SC and grew up in Camden, SC. Dylan attended Camden High School and was a 4-sport athlete in football, golf, track & field, and soccer. After high school, Dylan attended Coastal Carolina University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Recreation and Sport Management. Dylan was an intern for the Loris Recreation Department during his time at Coastal Carolina.
Favorite Sports Memory: "During my senior year football season, I got the chance to play defense for the first time against Richland Northeast and I recorded my first career tackle."
